This tea has many uses including relief of indigestion, stress and sleeplessness. It makes a nice herbal bath also. Because it encourages restfulness, it's a great bedtime and nerve tonic for toddlers. As the name implies, this tea has galactagogue herbs which encourage or increase the production of milk.
Directions: To prepare as a tea, steep 1 tablespoon of the dried herbs in 1 cup boiling water for 10-15 minutes; to prepare medicinally to increase milk, steep1 handful in a quart jar of boiling water for 20-30 minutes.
Elements: Chamomile flowers, catnip, fennel seeds, lemon balm, nettle and lavender flowers.
